We're transforming financial modeling for modern deal teams
Who we are
Designed by bankers, built by AI experts
Our team brings decades of experience across investment banking, corporate M&A, AI research, and startup leadership — with a track record of leading companies from inception through acquisition and IPO. We've been on the deal teams that live in Excel, and we know what's possible with modern AI. That combination of financial depth and technical rigor shapes everything we build.

What we value
Mathematical Integrity
We don’t approximate financial math with language models. Convexent uses deterministic calculation engines and produces real Excel models that users can audit, trace, and trust.
Technical Rigor
We build financial models that institutional teams stake real decisions on. Precision isn’t optional.
Craft & Clarity
Clean code, structured outputs, clear thinking. We care about the details that build trust — in both systems and decisions.
High Ownership
We operate with strong ownership and end-to-end accountability. Problems are solved directly, with a bias toward thoughtful execution over hand-offs and bureaucracy.
Who we're looking for
Sr. Forward Deployed Financial Engineer
New York / Los Angeles
Embed directly with customers to translate their Excel models, CIMs, and financial data into structured, inspectable models. You’ve built high-stakes financial models in investment banking, private equity, or Big 4 advisory — and you understand how deal teams actually work. Prior modeling experience required.
Staff AI Engineer
New York / Los Angeles
Build the core AI systems that power financial model generation. You’ll work on LLM orchestration, structured output generation, and domain-specific reasoning for M&A, LBO, and DCF models. Prior experience with large language models required; finance background a plus.
Quantitative Finance Lead
New York / Los Angeles
Define the financial logic that underpins our models. You’ll architect valuation frameworks, sensitivity analyses, and scenario modeling systems that meet institutional standards. CFA, MBA, or equivalent experience in investment banking or private equity required.
Sr. Product Lead
New York / Los Angeles
Own the product vision and roadmap. You’ve spent time on deal teams — investment banking, private equity, or corp dev — and know firsthand what’s broken. Now you want to fix it. You’ll work directly with customers and shape what we build.
